Heading our list of best celebrity engagement rings of 2020 is Brooklyn Beckham, the son of football legend David Beckham. Brooklyn announced his engagement to American actress, Nicola Peltz, in July with a stunning emerald cut diamond ring.
In a sweet message on Instagram, Brooklyn wrote: “Two weeks ago I asked my soulmate to marry me and she said yes xx I am the luckiest man in the world. I promise to be the best husband and the best daddy one day. I love you baby xx.” Aww!!!

2. Binky Felstead
In September, Binky Felstead, the Made in Chelsea star, Instagrammed a photo of herself and boyfriend Max Fredrik Darnton kissing outdoors. In the pic, she’s holding a magnificent diamond halo ring up to the camera.
Later, the star confirmed on Instagram that her daughter India, who is only 3 years old, played an important part in the proposal: “On Friday morning, on their way to the duck pond, Max asked India for her permission to ask her mummy to marry him. I love you Max – you bring out the best in me. I’m so lucky ❤️.”

3. Jeezy
American rapper and philanthropist, Jeezy, proposed to his girlfriend Jeannie Mai in March, just as the world went into lockdown. The ring he gave to Mai is an ultra-luxurious marquise diamond pictured below. It’s a rock that definitely belongs to this list of best celebrity engagement rings of 2020!
The rapper had been planning to propose to Mai during a trip to Vietnam. But due to the outbreak of COVID-19 he surprised her instead with a special Vietnamese-themed date night proposal at home in Los Angeles.

4. Axle Whitehead
Another lockdown love story emerged in April when Home and Away actor Axle Whitehead posted a pic of his girlfriend Liezl Carstens on Instagram. Axle, also known from his starring role in Neighbours, said: “Pulled the trigger and got a Yes! Game on!!”

5. Megan Rapinoe
In October, the women’s football USA national team captain, Megan Rapinoe, shared this romantic photo of her proposal to girlfriend Sue Bird. Sue is also a professional athlete and the couple met in the Rio Olympics. Sue stated that she “loves being a WAG” and that the couple are both “huge fans of each other.”

Little Mix singer Leigh-Anne Pinnock announced her engagement to her footballer boyfriend, Andre Gray, in May. The couple was at home celebrating their fourth anniversary when Andre got down on one knee and proposed. Lady Amelia, Princess Diana’s niece, got engaged to her boyfriend Greg Mallett in July this year. The announcement was made by her father Charles Spencer, Princess Diana’s brother, on Twitter.

Lisa Faulkner, the former East Enders star, announced her engagement to Master Chef judge, John Torode, in January 2020 and couple got married later in the year in October. Her engagement ring is designed with diamonds in the shape of a flower and looks absolutely stunning.
She captioned her Instagram post, “I’ve never been one to look after my hands and especially not my nails but since I got engaged and then married ???I’m trying to look after them!!”

9. Craig Revel-Horwood
In April this year, Craig Revel-Horwood, the judge of Strictly Come Dancing, announced his engagement to boyfriend Jonathan Myring during a trip to his native Australia. Jonathan had originally planned to get down on one knee during a romantic riverside walk in Tasmania but instead ended up proposing to Craig in the bath! Craig said: “I’m really, really happy, it was absolutely fantastic.”
It’s hard to make out the exact design of the ring from the few pictures available in the media, but to us it looks like a smooth band with polished yellow gold down the middle.

10. Boris Johnson
The UK Prime Minister and girlfriend Carrie Symonds made two big announcements in February, revealing they were engaged and also expecting a baby. The couple’s spokesperson made the statement, “The prime minister and Miss Symonds are very pleased to announce their engagement and that they are expecting a baby in the early summer.”
Boris popped the question with a vintage emerald ring, in keeping with Carrie’s passion for sustainable living.
