Apple Crisp Stuffed Apples | CHURINGA JEWELRY

A dessert that tastes and looks like fall?! YES PLEASE! We spent our lazy Sunday baking a fall favorite with a twist. These Apple Crisp Stuffed Apples will have you welcoming the new season with arms wide open.

What you’ll need:

For apple filling

6 apples

4 tablespoons butter

1/4 cup light brown sugar

1/2 cup teaspoon cinnamon

For the crumble topping

1/2 cup flour

1/4 cup oats

1/4 cup brown sugar

1/4 cup granulated sugar

1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

4 tablespoons butter

Step 1: Mix crumble topping ingredients together in a medium sized bowl

img_7636Step 2: Peel and chop two apples

img_7679Step 3: Mix brown sugar, butter, cinnamon, and chopped apples (apple filling) into sauce pan and stir over medium heat for 5-10 minutes (stir until apples are tender)

img_7648Step 4: Cut the tops off of the remaining four apples and scoop the insides out

img_7695Step 5: Fill the four scooped out apples with warm apple filling and crumble topping

img_7726Step 6: Bake stuffed apples for 10-15 minutes (bake until crumble topping is crispy)
