Helix piercings, otherwise known as cartilage piercings on the upper edge of the ear, have been around for a long time. These are fun and popular, and just about anyone can get away with it. Unlike more extreme piercings, that may pose a problem when having a job or wearing around your uptight family members, the helix is a bit more toned down.
The piercing process is simple and self-explanatory, and being in a spot like the upper ear poses the danger of getting snagged by the hair. As with any cartilage piercing, these can take a while- up to a year- to heal. They are totally worth it though, they’re very sexy!
