Hal Rubenstein

Hal Rubenstein, Gabriel’s global style director, was one of the founding editors of InStyle Magazine where served as Fashion Director for 15 years. Prior to that, Rubenstein was the Men’s Style Director of the New York Times, and was a contributing editor to Vogue, Elle, The New Yorker, New York, Interview, Ocean Drive and Details. Rubenstein is co-director of The Fund in the Sun Foundation, on the boards of The Paul Taylor Dance Company and Live Out Loud. In addition to creating and editing the cult classic Egg Magazine, Rubenstein is also a noted food critic and consultant, appears regularly on HSN with his eponymous clothing line and is the author of four books, his latest being The Looks of Love: 50 Moments in Fashion that Inspired Romance  (HarperCollins, 2015).

Robin Lefkowitz-Huska

Robin graduated from Fashion of Technology for Jewelry Manufacturing and design and has been in the jewelry industry for over 33 years. She has worked at Gabriel & Co. as the Fashion Merchandiser Supervisor for over 13 years. In that time, quality assurance and fashion merchandising has been a key part of role. Robin’s passion about jewelry stems from her family legacy of jewelry designers and her writing reflects her jewelry design and manufacturing expertise.

 

Inna

Inna Kushnirski

Inna Kushnirski is the Senior Bridal Merchandiser at Gabriel & Co.  She graduated at the top of her class from Marist College with a degree in Fashion Merchandising and Business Administration and has over 15 years of experience in the Jewelry Industry. In addition to her merchandising and product development duties, she frequently contributes her vast jewelry knowledge to Gabriel’s informative blog. She is located in NYC, where she resides with her husband and three children.

Caitlin Wells

Caitlin Wells is a graduate of NYU’s Stern School of Business specializing in marketing communications and market research. As a blog contributor, she draws on nearly a decade of experience in the jewelry industry across both bridal and fashion to help people discover jewelry that speaks to their unique sensibility and celebrates life’s unforgettable moments. Caitlin’s writing can also be found throughout Gabriel & Co.’s website and social media.

Beth Bernstein

Beth Bernstein is a jewelry historian, jewelry expert and collector of period and modern jewel and a purveyor of all things sparkly. She has a romance going on with the legend, language and sentiment behind the pieces and the story. Beth’s passion for this has inspired three books — ‘My Charmed Life,’ a memoir; ‘Jewelry’s Shining Stars,’ a modern jewelry design coffee table book; and ‘If These Jewels Could Talk,’ an in-depth look at celebrities and the stories behind their legendary jewels on the silver screen and in real life — with a fourth one in the works. She has written and continues to write for major consumer magazines and has also written for newspapers, online and print publications.

Tanya Dukes is a New York City-based writer, editor and stylist. She’s covered the jewelry and watch markets for nearly 15 years, beginning at Elite Traveler magazine, where she served as the publication’s first ever Style Editor. Later she became Accessories Editor of Brides Magazine and Senior Editor for INDESIGN and INSTORE magazines. Her freelance writing has appeared in titles including The International New York Times, Robb Report, The Knot and Watch Journal and she has received the Women’s Jewelry Association Award for Excellence in Editorial, a Folio: Eddie Award and a nomination for the GEM Award for Media Excellence, She records jewelry adventures on Instagram at @tanyadukes.
