Today’s post brings a brief update on a new limited edition charm exclusive to the Austrian market, produced in honour of the Vienna Opera Ball! The Vienna Opera Ball is annual event, wherein Austrian débutantes are inducted into society with much elegance and dancing. This year is its 60th anniversary, and so it’s a rather special year; Pandora are among the event’s sponsors and have created a limited edition charm to celebrate the occasion.
The charm is a specially-engraved version of the Unforgettable Moments pendant. It has been handed out to débutantes and guests at the ball, but is also available to purchase exclusively from the Pandora concept store on Trattnerhof 2, 1010 Wien, in Vienna, Austria. Read on for more details!
Pandora Vienna Opera Ball LE Charm
Retailing at 49 euros, the charm is engraved with ‘60 Jahre – Wiener Opera Ball‘, which means ’60 Years – Vienna Opera Ball’ in English. This is a very limited edition charm, with only 3,500 pieces produced. It went on sale on the 1st of February and will only be sold until the 8th (one week in total) – any charms not sold will be returned.
The other touch that helps to make this charm special is that each one comes with a certificate from Pandora (pictured below).

Pandora have produced a number of engraved special edition versions of the Unforgettable Moments pendant, such as the Canadian-exclusive Survivor charms, but this one stands out for me. Vienna is high up on my bucket list of places to visit, and there’s something about the pretty script and the fact that it’s associated with such an elegant event that just appeals to me. I’m picturing it with my Cinderella pieces on my midnight-themed bracelet. <3
