- 2008 to 2015: Rolex Day Date II (fist time using a 41mm Oyster case! It’s a modern version of the Day Date, made for those who appreciate larger men’s watches. Also, it uses a calibre 3156 automatic movement).
- 2015 to Present: Day Date 40 (first time using a 40mm Oyster case. This Day Date features a new generation movement, the Calibre 3255. It has a much longer power reserve of 72 hours and an improved accuracy rating of -2/+2 seconds per day).

Moreover, often times a diamond bezel can give a slightly feminine feel to a men’s watch, but the way it looks on the Day Date 36 is undeniably beautiful yet perfectly masculine.
The Day Date Ice Blue Dial
The ice blue dial is one of the most captivatingfeatures of this watch, which is no easy feat with all the incredibleattributes this watch contains.
The dial has a distinctive face that instantly is recognized as “Day Date”.
The Day Date 36, and Day Date watches in general, havea strong identity and they are flawlessly legible. There is absolutely noclutter, and only essential precious elements are included.
Rolex Day Date 118346 is characterized by hour markersfashioned from round brilliant diamonds, with the 6 and the 9 being baguettestep cut diamonds.

Calibre 3155 Movement
Developed and manufactured entirely by Rolex, the DayDate 36 reference 118346 is equipped with a calibre 3155 movement.
It features a day and date calendar disc mechanism.Furthermore, it contains 31 jewels and has 48 hours of power reserve with afrequency of 28,800 vph.
As with all Rolex Perpetual movements, the calibre 3155 is a Superlative Chronometer (COSC + Rolex certification after casing), which is an appointed certification reserved for high precision watches that effectively pass the Swiss Official Chronometer Testing Institute (COSC) tests.
Its structure, in relation to all Oyster watch movements, guarantees it remarkably reliable.
What’s more, the Calibre 3155 movement was the firstmovement to introduce the Double Quick Set function. The Quick Set allows forrapid setting of both the day and date by simply turning the crown clockwise orcounter-clockwise while in position 2.
