Drew Barrymore was interviewed by Oprah this last week, where she talked about her new family which includes husband of less than a year, Will Kopelman and 3 month old baby Olive. For the child star who started acting when she was under a year old, and experienced drugs and alcohol addiction as well as rehab twice before the age of 14, this normal family life is quite foreign to the environment she grew up in. Barrymore’s story is quite interesting as well as inspiring. However, our favorite part of the interview was when Oprah asked the big questions about the proposal and engagement ring as well as the wedding.
Will proposed in Utah the night of his parent’s 40th wedding anniversary. He explained to the TV host that he had the beautiful engagement ring in his snowboard bag and was just waiting to give it to her. He quickly realized that night that he no longer wanted to not be engaged to this woman and couldn’t wait to be with her. He popped the question with a gorgeous 4-carat Graff radiant cut flawless diamond. The two dated for less than a year, and soon after their engagement they discovered they were expecting a baby. The couple was married five months later in the backyard of their home.
