Fabergé - The Treasures Mosaïc Sapphire Pendant and Karl Fabergé

The first Faberge egg was created in 1885 for Tsar Alexander III. Peter Carl Faberge quickly then became the goldsmith to the Crown, creating upwards of 50 eggs for the family! These object eggs eventually worked their way into jewelry, paying homage to the Faberge heritage while making their items more accessible to their everyday customer.

What did we choose it ?

While most of the Faberge egg pendants resemble the traditional egg usually crafted with enamel, the Fabergé Egg has moved one step up in terms of modernity. The Treasures Mosaic Sapphire Pendant is set with an invisible setting of precious intense blue stones deprived of all metal. This method of setting provides an illusion on how the stones are set, as you can’t see any prongs. It is quite challenging to create this type of work, especially in a curved design, such as the egg shape.

What’s interesting about it?

The 274 princess cut Thai sapphires are so vibrant and well matched, it is as if you have a perfect drop of water draped around your neck. The delicate bail is set with invisibly set sapphires, and the necklace contain two perfectly place sapphire pieces along the chain.  If you are looking for a piece of luxury to wear around your neck, this Faberge Treasures Mosaic Sapphire Pendant is the perfect choice to nonchalantly pull it off with a button down white shirt and a pair of jeans. The color is so rich and vibrant and the craftsmanship is impeccable. This necklace is fit for the royalty that helped to start this brand!
