LL Cool J Launches Hip Hop Clothing Brand

Rapper, entertainer, and an actor, LL Cool J can now add “designer” to his list of achievements, as the rap legend released his clothing line, Rock The Bells. The clothing collection – which gives tribute to the hip-hop culture – includes t-shirts, sweatshirts, and hoodies. LL Cool J also said that the collection is all about what he calls the 4 pillars of hip-hop – graffiti, break dancing, MCs and DJs, and staying true to the culture.

His fave piece from the Rock the Bells line?

“It’s a classic jacket that has a nice blend of leather and cotton and has the number 43 on it, which is the number of the SiriusXM station,” he said. “It reminds me of the original days when the Def Jam artists had jackets like that.”

Allen Iverson’s Jewellery Worth $500k Stolen

In the wake of Kobe Bryant’s shocking death, his friend, Allen Iverson, a former Philadelphia 76ers star had to deal with over half a million of his jewellery stolen at the lobby of the Sofitel Hotel in Philadelphia. The jewellery, which was all inside a backpack, which was reportedly left sitting at a chair by the hotel lobby, was swiped by a 6-foot tall, thin, black male – according to surveillance cameras.

The footage was released online and circulated through social media, and the thief was soon identified as 21-year-old Christopher Daniel. He soon turned himself into the police and had reportedly confessed to the crime. Without a doubt, Christopher Daniel will be facing a number of theft charges, however, specific charges are yet to be shared by the police.

Allen Iverson is fond of flossing large and layered Cuban chains and iced out jewellery, so we’re taking a guess that those are what’s inside the backpack when it was stolen. For more info, read here.

Stay tuned for more news next week. In the meantime, browse through our offerings for that next hip hop jewellery piece you’ll be flossing.
