Make a DIY saline solution using 1 gallon distilled water & 4 tablespoons of sea salt. Clean your piercing with this solution twice per day, preferably before bed and when you wake up.
Change your pillowcase frequently. Your hair and face carry bacteria that can easily infect your piercing, and it’s important to avoid this at all costs.
Avoid using hair products that will irritate your daith piercing.
Avoid sleeping on your piercing as this will prolong healing and cause irritation.
Take B-complex vitamins to help speed up healing.
Do not touch, spin or move your jewelry. Your piercing is like a scab, and moving your jewelry around essentially tears your scab off.
Contact your doctor immediately if you experience redness, swelling or infection.
