Clasps, bails, earring posts, heads, and gold balls are all examples of findings.
Findings are like the “parts” you’d find in the plumbing department of a hardware store. If you were a plumber, you wouldn’t want to have to make your own valve. It would be much more convenient and cost effective to buy one pre-made at the store.
