Halftone body jewelry is one of the early birds on the terrain of body piercing. Since the piercing industry as we know it today finds its roots back in the late 60’s and early 70’s there were quick with a full on piercing studio in 1996. Although it might seem that there is a lot time in-between the 70’s and the 90’s you have to know that it was just in the 70’s that the process started where piercing slowly changed from the perverted imago into the imago piercings have today. And yes, that took quite some years.

Halftone started their piercing studio in 1996 in America and saw this problem as well. They decided that a good piercing had to be both fashionable but also functional. Functional here mostly means of better quality since most competitors only seemed to focus on the fashion aspect rather than the quality.
It didn’t take long before Halftone started working with well-known and respected piercers and jewellers to tackle this problem. Now, 18 years later Halftone has grown into an enormous piercing fabricator that still focuses on those two points, fashion and function.
Halftone produces all sorts of piercings and is a big player within the piercing market. Although their piercings are slightly more expensive than non-branded piercings they do offer piercings of the highest quality for the lowest possible price. But even besides quality and price they are also quite in touch with current fashion meaning that their designs are often trending.
