Mexican art constantly nourishes Kimy Gringoire’s imagination. Mayan statues and their majestically-rich adornments inspired the founder of the Kim Mee Hye label to dream up flamboyantly-colored jewelry pieces. After her Distrito Federal, a take on graphical earrings, the young designer unveils CCristina, a series of circular rings which reinterpret the floral theme by placing the focus on refinement. Precious stones and diamonds are juxtaposed daintily on 18-carat gold discs. Envisioned as an ode to the rich palette of colors of Mexican scenescapes, the collection joyfully blends amethysts, citrines and rubies harmoniously with white diamond intensity.
