Kimy Gringoire, creator of Belgian origin, recently established in Mexico, drew her inspiration for her latest collection from the Maya civilization. And, the result… Discreetly-luxurious pieces reinterpreting the floral theme with an ultra-contemporary twist.

Mexican art constantly nourishes Kimy Gringoire’s imagination. Mayan statues and their majestically-rich adornments inspired the founder of the Kim Mee Hye label to dream up flamboyantly-colored jewelry pieces. After her Distrito Federal, a take on graphical earrings, the young designer unveils CCristina, a series of circular rings which reinterpret the floral theme by placing the focus on refinement. Precious stones and diamonds are juxtaposed daintily on 18-carat gold discs. Envisioned as an ode to the rich palette of colors of Mexican scenescapes, the collection joyfully blends amethysts, citrines and rubies harmoniously with white diamond intensity. Rings to be worn alone or stacked, a host of colored rosacea, delicately slipped onto fingers. A little, a lot, passionately.
