All about the circular barbell

The circular barbell, a ring-shaped piercing that can be worn in many different places. This blog will briefly point out its possibilities and most important features.

About the circular barbell

The circular barbell is a surprisingly convenient piercing type. Also known as the horseshoe, this piercing offers many options. The circular barbell roughly offers the same options as the ball closure ring.

Lip piercing: The lip offers a neat position for the circular barbell. Both the balls of the circular barbell will fall onto the lip making them clearly visible and creating a nice effect. Spikes aren’t recommended as they might annoyingly keep pinching your lip.

Tragus piercing: The tragus piercing offers a fresh and cool location for the circular barbell. You’ll need a small size for it to fit and it’s quite different from regular tragus piercings. It would be best to wear balls as spikes might tickle depending on the shape of your ear and the size of the circular barbell.

Helix piercing: The helix piercing is a very good place for the circular barbell. Because the circular barbell should fall nicely over the edge of the ear you’ll get a similar effect when worn in the lip. The edge will remain visible forcing extra attention to the two balls, whether balls or spikes.

Clit piercing: Circular barbells are also perfect to be worn as a clit piercing. Best recommended for the horizontal clit piercing as the balls should fall on either side of the clit. Not only pretty but it can also be very stimulating. That we don’t recommend spikes might be a bit obvious.

Nose piercing: The septum piercing might the best known spot for the circular barbell. But besides the septum you could also wear a circular barbell in a nostril. Both spikes and balls create cool effects.

Eyebrow piercing: A lot of different piercing types aren’t compatible with the eyebrow, The circular barbell  depends on how yours is exactly placed. Especially cool with spikes which create a tough look.
