Searching piercing by type or body part?
Piercing Mania has designed her website in such a way that you can search for body jewellery in two easy ways. You either search on piercing types or on the body part you want to place your new piercing. Because most piercing types can be worn on several places on the body.
When you look at piercings by type you’ll find all the body jewellery sorted per type. For example, you’ll find all available barbell in the ‘barbells’ category. This means all barbells, including tongue piercings, nipple piercings and tragus piercings. These are all barbells with different thicknesses and lengths. So it is therefore important that you know what size you’re looking for.
It is also possible to search on the body part where you’re pierced. For example, are you looking for a new piercing for in your lip? Then you search in “piercings by body part’ and then ‘lip piercings’. You’ll get all suitable piercing types (such as labrets, circular barbells and ball closure rings) that can be worn as a lip piercing.

There is an even easier way to search for your new piercing. This by using the search bar you’ll find at the top of every page. When used you’ll search the entire store, including our blogs.
When looking for piercing information you can use keywords you would like to know more about, like ‘standard size tongue piercing’ or ‘make a salt bath’.

All piercing types their own blog
On the piercing blog of Piercing Mania, you’ll find all the information about piercings you need to make an informed decision. Each piercing type has at the very least one blog summarising the most important features.
These blogs are called ‘All information about the … piercing’. Each blog will shortly summarise the most important information you should have in order to pick a proper piercing. Things like the standard size, which piercings can be worn where, the effect materials have and more.
You’ll also find many other blogs besides these basic blogs which are far more extensive about certain piercing types and their properties. Take the ‘A tongue piercing and your teeth’ blog for example, it discusses the potential risks of damaging your teeth.
All piercing information
Before you actually buy a new piercing you want to make sure that you have all available information at your disposal to make an informed decision. You can find all the available information that we have on a product on their product page when you click on ‘additional information’. You’ll also find a summary of that info besides the product image.
The tab ‘additional information’ contains all available information on a piercing. The sizes, the material, the piercing type and all other relevant information. That last one differs from type to type. Long barbells, for example, tell you whether or not they should be worn as a tongue piercing. Tragus and cartilage piercings will tell you where they are supposed to be worn on the ear.

Before you purchase body jewellery it’s always a smart move to collect all relevant information on order to make an informed decision. You do not want to encounter unnecessary and avoidable problems.
